The Black Curriculum is a social enterprise founded in 2019 by Lavinya Stennett to address the lack of Black British history within the UK education system.

It aims to empower students aged 3–25 by fostering a stronger sense of national and cultural identity through the teaching of Black British history. The organisation advocates for the inclusion of this history within the national curriculum, while delivering accessible and engaging learning experiences throughout the year.

By educating young people about diverse histories, The Black Curriculum seeks to promote social cohesion and greater understanding across communities in the UK. The initiative focuses on equipping young people with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate a diverse society, while strengthening their sense of belonging and identity.
